About the MANA Messaging System
MANA LLC provides the MANA Messaging System, a service that enables healthcare facilities to send medical reports to patients through WhatsApp.
1. Information We Process
The service may process patients’ phone numbers, medical reports, and message delivery information as necessary to provide the messaging service.
2. How We Use Information
Information is used solely to facilitate the delivery of medical reports to intended recipients through WhatsApp on behalf of the healthcare facility initiating the message.
3. Information Sharing
Information may be processed by Meta/WhatsApp and service providers as necessary to operate the service and deliver messages. MANA LLC does not sell patients’ personal information.
4. Data Retention
Medical reports are temporarily stored for delivery purposes and are scheduled for automatic deletion the following day.
5. Privacy Responsibilities
Healthcare facilities are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate authorization to send patients’ medical information through the service.
